Allow us to introduce the transformative Gujarat Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, affectionately known as the MYSY Scholarship. This visionary initiative, led by the Gujarat Government, stands as a ray of hope, dedicated to empowering economically disadvantaged students in their pursuit of higher education dreams.
Gujarat MYSY Scheme Eligibility
To be eligible for the MYSY Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Medical Courses:
Scored 80% or above in Class 12 examinations
Annual family income should be less than INR 6 lakh per year
2. Diploma Courses:
Attained 80% or above in Class 12 examinations
Annual family income should be less than INR 6 lakh per year
3. Engineering and Pharmacy Courses:
Obtained 80% or above in Class 12 examinations
Annual family income should be less than INR 6 lakh per year
4. Other Courses like BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, BBA, etc.:
Achieved 80% or above in Class 12 examinations
Annual family income should be less than INR 6 lakh per year

MYSY Scholarship 2023 – Course-wise Benefit Details
The Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana offers various benefits based on the course of study. Let’s delve into the scholarship details for each course:
1. Medical Courses:
The scholarship amount of INR 2,00,000 per annum or 50% of the tuition fees, whichever is less
Book and Equipment assistance – INR 10,000
Hostel grant – INR 1,200 per month
2. Diploma Courses:
Scholarship amount – INR 25,000 per annum
Book and Equipment assistance – INR 3,000
Hostel grant – INR 1,200 per month
3. Engineering and Pharmacy Courses:
Scholarship amount – INR 50,000 per annum
Book and Equipment assistance – INR 5,000
Hostel grant – INR 1,200 per month
4. Other Courses like BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, BBA, etc.:
Scholarship amount – INR 10,000 per annum
Hostel grant – INR 1,200 per month
Required Documents for Scholarship
To apply for the MYSY Yojana Scheme, candidates need to submit the following documents:
- Domicile Certificate
- Income certificate
- Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrollment Slip
- Self-declaration form
- 10th and 12th standard mark sheet
- Admission letter and fee receipt
- Bank account proof
- Affidavit (non-judicial stamp paper Rs 20)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Hostel admission letter and fee receipt
- Certificate from Institution for new student
- Renewal certificate from Institution (in case of renewal)
- Self-declaration for non-IT returns
Application Process for MYSY Scholarship
The registration process for the Gujarat Mukhyamantri Scholarship is simple and user-friendly which is as follows
- Visit the official scholarship portal.
- Click on ‘Login/Register for 2023’ and select ‘Fresh Application’.
- Click on the ‘if you have not registered plz, click for registration’ button on the page to ‘Register’.
- Fill in all the required details in the ‘First Time Registration’ form and click on the ‘Get Password’ button.
- You will receive your login details along with the password on your registered mobile number.
- Then again visit the official Gujarat Mukhyamantri Scholarship Portal again.
- Click on ‘Login/Registration 2023’ and then click on ‘Fresh Application’ from the list.
- Fill in all the necessary details on the login page and select your board, then click on the ‘Login’ button.
- Once logged in, you can access the scholarship application form. Fill in all the details, upload the necessary documents, and submit your application.
