For Masters / PhD Students | Candidates must be under 35 years of age and a college graduate OR should have completed 16 years / 18 years of education. |
For Teacher training students | Contenders should be below 35 years of age and should have degree of graduation from a college or teacher training college. Candidates should have at least 5 years of active experience as a teacher in a primary, secondary or teacher training college. |
For Japanese Study Students | The age of appliers must be from 18 to 30 years old. Aspirants should be enrolled as undergraduate students in faculties or schools which major in Japanese language or Japanese culture in a university outside Japan. |

Application Process for MEXT Scholarship 2023
- If you are planningto apply for MEXT Scholarship, need to visit to the official website of Japanese Embassy of your country.
