Step 2: Application Submission by the Student
To begin, log in using your credentials. After logging in, upload the scanned documents (make sure each file is within 2MB). Then, read the brochure thoroughly and accept the declaration. Now, fill out all the personal, academic, and income details in the application form. Lastly, upload the required documents again, if needed, and submit your application successfully.
Step 3: Document Verification by the Facilitation Centre
Start by taking a printout of your completed application form. Next, visit your nearest Facilitation Centre along with all original documents. Then, submit photocopies of the required documents for verification. Finally, collect a copy of the Document Verification Report from the centre.
JK AICTE Scholarship
Students who are permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to apply for the AICTE JK Scholarship 2026. As part of the Pradhan Mantri Uchchtar Shiksha Protsahan initiative, the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) seeks to give worthy students the chance to pursue higher education outside of the state.

Eligibility Criteria
- Should have passed Class 12 from J&K Board or CBSE-affiliated school located in J&K.
- Students willing to pursue studies outside J&K are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who completed diploma after Class 10 from J&K Polytechnic institutions can apply for lateral entry into 2nd year of engineering courses.
- Annual family income should not exceed INR 8 lakh.
- Admission should be taken in AICTE-approved institutions or centrally recognized universities.
