About Hindustan Scholarship
The Hindustan Times Scholarship Program is open to students studying in class 5 to 10 in Mumbai and Pune. The Hindustan Times is looking for young, bright minds who are able to show exceptional creativity and originality while achieving a high grade point average. To be considered for this prestigious scholarship, students must fill out an online or offline application form. They must answer all questions completely, attach required documents, and submit the form to the school principal.
The selection process for the Hindustan Times Scholarship 2023 involves a written test, an essay, and 5 quiz cuttings. Once shortlisted, students must attend an interview session with a panel of senior editors from the Hindustan Times Group. The winners will be felicitated at an award function. The program will assess the overall academic achievement of participants and essay assessments. The selection panel will then decide the final winner. The winner will receive a cash prize, certificate, and diploma.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?
Students enrolled in a class 5 to 10 school in Mumbai, Pune, and Chandigarh are eligible to apply for this scholarship program. They must be residents of the city of Maharashtra and the Thane region. Selection Process
The team member of the Hindustan Times Media Ltd will select the brilliant and young youth candidates based on the participant’s academic record and all-round achievement, assessment in an essay, followed by an interview session
Students will get selected based on the following terms
- Essay Writing
- Academic and ECA
- Interview by a panel of senior editors
Scholarship Money
An organization will shortlist 60 aspirants from Mumbai and award each of them Rs 50,000 as scholarship money.
35 students will be shortlisted from Chandigarh, Panchkula & Mohali and will be given a scholarship of Rs 25,000 each
An organization will shortlist 25 students from Pune and grant each of them Rs 25,000 as scholarship money.
