About the Fellowship
The INSA-JRD TATA Fellowship program is open to citizens of developing countries. This fellowship is for those citizens who are affiliated with a scientific or academic institution. To apply, you must submit the application form to the CICS at Gandhi Mandapam Road, Chennai, along with a detailed curriculum vitae, a brief research proposal, and a copy of your highest degree certificate. If you are selected, the institute will provide housing, and may also provide you with a contingency grant for books and stationery.
INSA has invited international researchers, teachers, and scientists from all disciplines to apply for the INSA-JRD TATA Fellowship. This fellowship is meant to facilitate the development of interdisciplinary research and to promote the advancement of science and technology in developing countries. The application process is straightforward but requires detailed information about the selected candidate. Once complete, the successful candidate will receive a full I Fellowship and travel to India to conduct research.
The selection process is competitive. The fellowship program offers a consolidated grant of up to INR 30,000 per month. The fellowship may last from one month to six months. The award includes funding for boarding, lodging, and travel expenses. Selected candidates can conduct their research at any institute or laboratory of their choice.
