Karnataka Scholarship 2023 Important Overview

Name of the Scholarship Check Eligibility Criteria
Pre-Matric Scholarship for the minority community of KarnatakaStudying in classes 1-10.
50% marks must be in the last annual examination.
The family income: not above Rs. 1 Lakh.
The students belonging to other states that are studying in Karnataka cannot apply.
Domicile of Karnataka is required.
Post-Matric Scholarship for the minority community of KarnatakaStudying in the 11th to Ph.D. level.
A minimum 50% must be in the previous examination.
The annual family income: Not be more than Rs. 2 Lakh.
The students pursuing studies through certificate/training or correspondence courses cannot apply.
The students belonging to other states that are studying in Karnataka cannot apply.
Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for the minority community, KarnatakaStudying in graduation or post-graduation in a technical or professional stream.
Minimum 50% marks must be in the previous examination.
Annual family income: Not be above Rs. 2.5 Lakh per annum.
National Overseas Scholarship for the Minority Community Students, KarnatakaMaximum age: 38 years from the course commencement.
60% marks must be in the previous examination
The scholarship is applicable only for elective courses.
An incentive for SSLC & 2nd PUC Students, KarnatakaClass 10th or 12th class passed with minimum 85% marks.
M.Phil. and Ph.D. Fellowship for Minority Students, KarnatakaMaximum age: 35 years.
The annual income of the family: Not above Rs. 6 Lakh per annum.
Full-time employees or government employees are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship Awards:

  • This Karnataka Scholarship scheme covers admission fees, tuition fees, and maintenance allowance
  • The scholarship covers admission fees, tuition fees, and maintenance allowance
  • Scholarship up to Rs. 30,000
  • Scholarship up to Rs. 20 Lakh per annum up to 2 years covering the living expenses, cost of course, and one side airfare
  • Fellowship up to Rs. 25,000/month
    A contingency grant of Rs. 10,000 per annum
