Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Candidates have to become brilliant scientists or engineers.<\/li>
  2. Candidates must have passed a higher degree or equivalent, such as a Ph.D. in Science\/Engineering, Master in Engineering or Technology\/MD in Medicine, etc., and have adequate professional experience<\/li>
  3. Having a proven\/outstanding track record as evidenced by their research publications and recognition would be eligible<\/li>
  4. Candidates are working abroad at the time of nomination<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Important Note<\/strong>: Selected students will get any position such as permanent, tenure track or contractual position. Institute\/University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Age Limitation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Maximum Age of candidates: 40 Years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Benefits Of Fellowship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. The selected student will receive a consolidated amount of INR 1,35,000 per month, including HRA.<\/li>
    2. Each selected candidate will also get a research grant of INR 7 lakh per annum (for consumables, travel, research manpower & contingencies, etc.) and INR 60,000 per annum as overhead charges<\/li>
    3. Selected candidates it will be eligible to get regular research grants through the extramural funding schemes of various S&T agencies of the Government of India.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Selection Process<\/strong> for Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Selection of candidates will be done periodically by an empowered Search-cum-Selection Committee specially appointed for the purpose.<\/li>
      2. Candidates Scientists and Technologists should approach the institution’s choice for hosting them for the fellowship and forwarding their nominations to SERB for the fellowship.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Nomination letter (On letterhead, duly signed and stamped).<\/li>
        2. CV of Nominee.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Application Process for Ramanujan Fellowship <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          1. First of all, candidates will have to open an official website, https:\/\/serbonline.in\/<\/li>
          2. Candidates should register and log in.<\/li>
          3. Click on the suitable link and open the \u201cApply Online\u201d link.<\/li>
          4. Candidates have to submit all the details in the application form properly.<\/li>
          5. Candidates are required to upload the proposed area of research and a brief outline of the proposal in a single PDF file not more than 5 pages.<\/li>
          6. Send the completed form to the nominator.<\/li>
          7. The nominator may choose to submit the nomination to SERB or resend the form to the Nominee for any revision.
