Shiksha Protsahan Yojana
The Annusuchit Jati Chhattrawadi Chhattra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojana 2023 is an educational scheme introduced by the Government of Haryana to encourage girls to pursue higher education. The program aims to reduce dropout rates among girls belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and motivate them to pursue higher education.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?
The scholarship is for BC-A students studying in classes 1 to 8. They should have an annual family income of up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs and be studying in a government college. They must also be pursuing a professional degree or a technical degree. Students who are not in a minority category but belong to a Scheduled Caste must also have a minimum family income of Rs. 1 lakh. Benefits of the Yojana
Diploma in professional/technical courses: 7000 Rs P/A for hosteller and INR 5000 pa for non-hosteller
Graduation in Science/Commerce Streams: 9000 Rs P/Afor hosteller and INR 7000 pa for non-hosteller
Graduation in technical/professional Courses: 11000 Rs per annum for hosteller and INR 9000 pa for non-hosteller
Postgraduation in Science/Commerce streams: INR 12000 pa for hosteller and INR 10,000 pa for non-hosteller
Postgraduation in professional/technical courses: INR 14000 pa for hosteller and INR 12000 pa for non-hosteller
