Scholarship Benefits
The student shall get Rs. 48,000 per annum i.e., Rs. 4,000 per month as monthly scholarship graciously offered by ONGC towards meeting his/her academic expenses for the full duration of his/her selected course. ONGC Scholarship 2026-2027 clarified that this scholarship shall have been given to students for full-time professional courses only in recognized institutions.

Eligibility Criteria for ONGC Scholarship 2026–27
To apply, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a citizen of India and belong to the SC/ST category.
- Must be pursuing full-time professional courses like Engineering, MBBS, MBA, or PG in Geology/Geophysics.
- Must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 12 (for UG applicants) or 60% in Graduation (for PG applicants).
- The annual family income must not exceed ₹4.5 lakh from all sources.
- Age limit: The applicant’s age must not exceed 30 years as on 1st July 2026.
- Note: 50% of the scholarships are reserved for girl candidates to ensure gender equity in professional education.
